Craft Bazaar 2022
Limitless Beauty, Handcrafted with Care.

Craft Bazaar is an annual event hosted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Kannur, India. The event celebrates India's rich cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship by inviting artisans from across the country to showcase their handloom and handicraft products. The bazaar offers a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the diverse range of textile arts and crafts that India has to offer.

From intricately woven saris and shawls to handmade jewelry and pottery, the Craft Bazaar features a wide variety of products that are all made using traditional techniques and materials. Visitors can interact with the artisans, learn about their craft, and purchase unique products that cannot be found anywhere else.

The Craft Bazaar not only serves as a platform for artisans to showcase their work, but also helps to promote and preserve traditional Indian arts and crafts. By supporting these artisans, the event contributes to the development of sustainable and ethical business practices in the textile industry.

Through this branding project, I aimed to capture the essence of the Craft Bazaar and convey its message through a cohesive visual identity. My branding approach reflects the vibrancy, diversity, and authenticity of the event and its products, while also highlighting the social and cultural significance of traditional Indian craftsmanship.

The merger of the initials of Craft Bazaar- C and B, and the sound 'krʌ', in Hindi written as 'क्र', forms the structure of the logo.

Through this branding project, I aimed to create a visual identity that captures the vibrancy, diversity, and authenticity of the Craft Bazaar. My approach was inspired by the traditional Indian arts and crafts, and I sought to convey the warmth, hospitality, and creativity of the event through my designs.
